Why Choose Us?

The love of metal has been in our family for years.  My dad, Leon, has been fabricating, building & repairing with metal on the family farm ever since I can remember.  His metal work also turned into creative and artistic designs, including wheat and floral wall arrangements.  Eventually, his love & ability of working with metal rubbed off onto me.  My interest in metal started with metal creations for our corn maze themes such as the butterflies, sunflowers and African safari animals.  In 2013, I started my own business.  Together, we are creating some unique, creative, and original metal artwork.

I design all of our pieces and then transfer them to our farm shop where I cut out our designs from 12 gauge new steel on a CNC plasma cutter.  We then brush & grind off the dross on the back side and give each piece two coats of Rustoleum black hammered paint.  We are very particular about each step of the process...sometimes my husband says I am too particular...but I will not sell something that I wouldn't put on a wall in my home.  Welcome to our online store and please let us know if you have any questions.  Thanks so much for visiting!   Julie

"LOVE your designs!!  I'm already the proud owner of 4 pieces but I NEED more!!!!"  Diana

"Love your work.  I have bought several pieces over the years."  Terri

"I have seen your work and it is fantastic."  Joan

"You do such beautiful work!"  Jennifer

Our Story ...

Julie Ball

store owner

Hello and welcome to our story.  I am a farm wife that loves my life, my husband, my family and my God.  My husband and I were married in 2011 and live in Buhler, KS (a small community of 1,000 people in Central KS) where we balance...and sometimes juggle...our daily lives.  In 2014 we took over both of our parents' farming & cattle operations (so they could retire) and life has been busy...but good.   We soon realized that the farming operation would need help to survive the tough farm economy years, so the metal art business went from a fun hobby to a growing business to help out the farm.

I work in the farm shop over the winter months building up inventory and designing new pieces for spring & fall craft shows.  My parents help me travel to craft shows while my husband stays home to manage the farm.  My Mom also helps with painting and my Dad welds nativity pieces...or whatever I need welded.  Someday I'll learn to weld but right now it's something fun we do together.  We travel to OK, NE & MN and several in KS...going to 8 shows a year.   Since we are a working farm, the metal business comes to a much slower pace during the summer & fall months.

Starting this metal business also gave me an avenue to proclaim my Christian values and put my faith out there for all to see.  We specialize in scripture verses, but also have many inspirational wall art pieces, Christmas nativities, wildlife collection, farm collection and my very own Easter scene.

Thanks for stopping by and please let me know if you have any questions.  We would love to get to know you!!  Julie (& Torrey)
